A GTF credential claim should be checked against the public registry. If there is no active record, buyers should treat the claim as unverified until GTF confirms it.

The directory shows approved members. The registry confirms active credential standing where a credential has been reviewed and approved. These are separate signals.
Check claimed status
Use the registry to check whether a credential claim is active. No active match means the claim should not be accepted.

For high-value contracts, ask GTF to confirm standing, evidence recency, and any limitations before appointment.

Free 2026-2027 membership creates a directory route after approval. It does not create a GTF Certified, Professional, or Master credential.
Credential badges should be used only after approval and while the public registry shows an active record.
